Components of Banana Pudding






500 g milk (2 cups + 2 tbsp)
75 g sugar (1/3 cup)
2 egg yolks
2 tsp vanilla
35 g cornstarch (4 tbsp)
25 g butter (2 tbsp)
Mix sugar, egg yolks, milk, cornstarch and vanilla.
Strain the mixture into a pot. Cook the pudding until it starts to bubble.
Cool down the pudding make sure to cover the pudding with plastic wrap.
230 g heavy cream (1 cup)
Vanilla cookies
3 or 4 bananas
Whip heavy cream,fold it into the cooled pudding.
In a bowl spread third of the pudding and layer sliced bananas and vanilla cookies.
Spread another third of the pudding then layer bananas and cookies.
Spread the remaining pudding on top.
You can decorate the pudding with extra whipped cream and cookies.
Leave your banana pudding in the fridge overnight.
