You can customize your Levain-style cookies with these delicious variations:

Levain style chocolate chip cookies recipe
120 g butter / (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
110 g light brown sugar / (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
110 g granulated sugar / (1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
1 egg + 1/2 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
250 g flour (2 cups)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
50 g chopped walnuts / (1/3 cup)
120 g dark chocolate chips / (3/4 cup)
Preheat oven to 356°F or 180°C.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Mix together butter and sugars until combined.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
Add chocolate chips and chopped walnuts mix.
Scoop cookie dough with into balls and place them evenly spaced on your baking sheet.
You can put some extra chocolate chips on top of the cookies.
Chill your cookie in the refrigerator for couple hours.
(note: you can freeze some of the cookie dough balls if you don’t want to bake all of it.)
Bake in the oven for approximately 15-18 minutes.
Take the cookies out and cool down on the baking pan.
