
180 g sugar (1 cup)
zest of 1 orange
110 g softened butter
2 eggs
Juice of 1 orange (50 g) (1/4 cup)
130 g milk or yogurt (2/3 cup)
200 g flour (2 cups)
2 tsp baking powder
Mix the sugar and orange zest together.
Add softened butter and mix until pale and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time and mix until fluffy.
Sift flour and baking powder together in a seperate bowl.
Alternate dry and wet ingredients until homogenous.Do not overmix.
Butter and flour your loaf pan and pour in the cake batter.
Preheat your oven to 350 F or 180 C. Bake approximately 30 minute or until a wooden skewer inserted comes out clean.
Let the cake cool down before taking out of the pan.
